QPI&M, Inc. was incorporated in 1998 providing the electric and communication industry services in pole inspection, pole restoration, GIS-GPS field inventories, joint use inventories and many other services.
Since incorporation, a reputation has been established to deliver quality services, skilled personnel and customer satisfaction. This has enabled QPI&M, Inc. to expand our services into four states and we are still growing.
Meet our management team:
Walter Pucci, President, has 32 years experience in the industry and holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota. He has won multiple awards for service and sales while working for Osmose. He has multiple years experience in developing inspection programs, assisting with wood decay research, technical advice on committees that deal with wood decay and is known in the utility industry as a leader in the field of pole inspection and maintenance. Walter is also a member of the American Wood Protection Association.
Jonathan Horton, Vice President, has 17 years experience in the industry in the field of pole inspection and maintenance. He has won several safety awards and is currently developing work safety programs. Jon has over 10 years experience in the field operations of the company managing human resources, implementing inspection tools, pole reinforcements, inventory, inspection and maintenance. Throughout his experiences in dealing with human resources he has trained over 100 people in the industry for both QPI&M and utility companies. Jon is a member of the American Wood Protection Association.
Robbie Camacho, Vice President of Sales, has 12 years experience in the industry working his way up from the inspection crew of QPI&M. Robbie has been a Forman, Supervisor and now is responsible for several million in sales for QPIM annually. Robbie has won multiple company awards for productivity, customer service, and safety. Robbie graduated from Blinn College in Brenham, TX majoring in Business and is a member of the American Wood Protection Association.
Gan Li, PhD, Vice President of IT, has 12 years experience in the area of computer science where his programming and expertise were used for the implementation of a copyright GIS software to manage forest inventory. Li also has multiple years experience in wood science where he developed new screening tests that were accepted by the American Wood Protection Association. Li has been awarded multiple academic awards and is a member of the American Wood Protection Association.
Jonathan Carbone, Hawaii Branch Manager/GIS Administrator. Jonathan holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Hawaii Hilo in Geography with a focus on GIS systems, and has a strong background in the Electrical Utility Industry. With over 10 years’ experience in the field of GIS in multiple industries, Jonathan has been a GIS Administrator in engineering departments in the Electric Utility Field, where he has been responsible for the migration, conversion, and integration of entire GIS mapping systems and databases. Additionally, he holds multiple NISC: GIS/FieldEdit Staking Administration Certifications, and numerous ESRI Certifications.
Kevin W. Ragon, PhD, Vice President of Research and Development, has 13 years experience in the area of wood science specializing in the area of wood destroying organisms. He has multiple publications that cover wood protection and two US Patents. Kevin has recived multiple awards awards for community service, research, and entrepreneurship. Kevin is a member of American Wood Protection Association, National Pest Management Association, Forest Products Society, and Society of Wood Science and Technology.
